✔About Bansko - I was there last february, 22-28, and i can tell you guys, i was very impressed. Bansko is a charming and very warm city! :). It's surrounded by pine trees and mountains giving to this city an unique beauty. The main avenue is called Pirin. It has everything you need for your skiing time be perfect, included very nice hotels and many stores.
✔Sobre Bansko - Eu fui na última semana de fevereiro, 22-28 e eu posso dizer a vocês, eu fiquei muito impressionada. Bansko é uma cidade encantadora e muito quente! :). É cercada por pinheiros e montanhas que dão a esta cidade uma beleza única. A avenida principal é chamada de Pirin. Lá tem tudo o que você precisa para o seu tempo de esqui ser perfeito, incluídos hotéis muito agradáveis e muitas lojas.
✔ Equipments and clothes - if you don't want to buy you can just rent the equipments for a reasonable price at the city of Bansko or you can buy it in Sofia. We were a day there and i can tell you we found everything we needed at the Declathon's store, the prices was not the cheapest one but this store is complete, has everything included equipments trust me!
✔Equipamentos e roupas - Se você não quiser comprar você pode simplesmente alugar os equipamentos a um preço razoável na cidade de Bansko ou você pode comprá-lo em Sofia. Ficamos um dia lá e eu posso te dizer que encontramos tudo o que foi necessário na loja Declathon, os preços não são os mais baixos, mas esta loja é completa, tem tudo incluso equipamentos confie em mim!
✔Hotel in Sofia - If you are tired and want to stay there for one night i recommend to you the two stars California Hotel, it's located in a good area of the city not far from the center and has excellent price. The rooms are very nice and you can felt yourself at home. They have a little restaurant so you can try a traditional dish as well enjoy the rustic bulgarian decoration or you could try the malls close there. We were at the Paradise mall, more options of course. I suggest to you the "Happy", a nice restaurant with delicious Bulgarian food.
✔Hotel em Sofia - Se você estiver cansado e quiser ficar lá por uma noite eu recomendo a você o duas estrelas California Hotel, que está localizado em uma boa área da cidade não muito longe do centro e tem excelente preço. Os quartos são muito agradáveis e você pode sentir-se em casa. Eles têm um pequeno restaurante para que você possa experimentar um prato tradicional, bem como apreciar a decoração búlgara ou você pode se quiser mais opções os shoppings mais próximos. Nós estávamos no shopping Paradise, mais opções. Sugiro-lhe o "Happy", um bom restaurante com comida búlgara deliciosa.

✔Hotel in Bansko
We were hosted at the four stars Katarinos hotel. It's located 14km from Bansko, it's Spa hotel and has an incredible view, was full of families from different countries, i met people from Macedonia, United States, Romenia and of course Bulgarians. The rooms had good space, the bed was very comfortable, the food was amazing. Was served breakfast, deliciuos snack and dinner. Everything was tasty. They had delicious soa ups two different kinds per night. They offered every day as gift a bottle of an amazing wine. There is a game salloon with bowling and other games, the spa of course, little gym, sauna, two pools, a store of accessories and they also rented ski equipment and offered the translade to Bansko. Wifi signal was good but sometimes i was disappointed... If you have kids they offer a little playground, actually the place was quite little and i thought they could make some improvements cause had few toys and the kids have a lot of energy, so they got bored easily.

Estávamos hospedados no quatro estrelas Katarino hotel. Ele está localizado a 14 km de Bansko, é um hotel Spa e tem uma vista incrível para a montanha, estava cheio de famílias de diferentes países, eu conheci pessoas da Macedônia, Estados Unidos, Romênia e claro, os búlgaros. Os quartos tinham bom espaço, a cama era muito confortável, a comida era incrível. Foi servido o pequeno-almoço, lanche e jantar. Tudo era gostoso. Eles tinham deliciosas sopas dois tipos diferentes por noite. Eles ofereceram a cada dia como presente uma garrafa de um vinho surpreendente. Tem um pequeno salão de jogos com boliche e outros, o spa é claro, pequena academia, sauna, duas piscinas, uma loja de acessórios e eles também alugam equipamentos de esqui e oferecem ainda a translado para Bansko. sinal wifi era bom, mas às vezes eu fiquei desapontada... Se você tem filhos eles oferecem um pequeno playground, na verdade, o lugar era muito pequeno e eu pensei que poderiam fazer algumas melhorias pois tinham poucos brinquedos e as crianças têm muita energia, então logo ficam entediadas.

✔When to go?
I recommend to you to go at the beginning of the season when the winter is stronger. I was no lucky, the temperatures was high, and the remaining snow was melting. I took good shots but i felt that my experience was not complete. I hope to be lucky next year.

Eu recomendo que você vá no início da temporada, quando o inverno é mais forte. Eu não tive sorte, a temperatura estava alta, e a neve restante estava derretendo. Eu tirei boas fotos, mas eu senti que a minha experiência não foi completa. Espero ter sorte no próximo ano.
✔ Roads - The roads from Sofia untill Bansko are in very perfect conditions like new, Bulgaria is a very peaceful place i didn't see any policing and the same time i've noted that the drivers were very responsible so i hope you will not have problems on the road.
✔Estradas
As estradas de Sofia até Bansko estão em excelentes condições, a Bulgária é um lugar muito tranquilo eu não vi qualquer policiamento e ao mesmo tempo os motoristas foram muito responsáveis por isso espero que você não terá problemas na estrada.
Rila Monastery
At the return to Sofia we took to visit the Rila Monastery a building of the Orthodox Church dating to the 10th century.

No retorno pra Sofia aproveitamos para visitar o Mosteiro Rila uma construção datada do século X da Igreja Ortodoxa.
Located to 88km from Bansko, it took from our time less than 1/2 h, the road its not in perfect conditions so you should be careful with fallen stones of the mountain side of the road.
Localizado a 88 km de Bansko, nosso trajeto foi inferior a 1/2 h, a estrada não está em boas condições então vc você deve ter cuidado com as pedras caídas do lado da montanha na estrada.
If you need you will find very interesting restaurants along the road and some hotels too, we don't stop at none cause we had and appointment at Sofia so the time was limited.
Se você precisar você vai encontrar restaurantes muito interessantes ao longo da estrada e alguns hotéis também, nós não paramos em nenhum porque tínhamos compromisso em Sofia então o tempo era muito limitado.
The place is simply amazing, have an incredible architecture and it's surrounded by the Rila Mountain, it looks like a castle and the floor is parallelepiped and everything is well preserved. It's a very quiet place. You can enjoy the very interesting museum inside, we payed only 6 levas for two adults and two kids, worth to visit. The parking it's like 4 levas. There you will see some old documents, the clothes of the old bishops, some gold artefacts, weapons from the soldiers that protected that place in the past, some gifts from Russia and Turkey and many other artefacts as well the complete history of the monastery. It's not allowed to take pictures.
O lugar é simplesmente incrível, tem uma arquitetura incrível e é cercado pela montanha de Rila, parece um castelo e o piso é de paralelepípedo e tudo está bem preservado. É um lugar muito tranquilo. Você pode apreciar o museu muito interessante, nós pagamos apenas 6 levas para dois adultos e duas crianças, vale a pena visitar. O parque de estacionamento é 4 levas. Lá você verá alguns documentos antigos, as roupas dos antigos bispos, alguns artefatos de ouro, armas dos soldados que protegiam aquele lugar no passado, alguns presentes da Rússia e da Turquia e muitos outros artefatos bem como a história completa do mosteiro. Não é permitido tirar fotos. Definitively worth to going there.
Bulgaria is really incredible, i'm always impressed with the past and how Bulgaria was a great country and still is. People here should be proud. Definitivamente vale a pena ir lá.
A Bulgária é realmente incrível, eu estou sempre impressionada com o passado e em como a Bulgária era um grande país e ainda é. As pessoas aqui devem estar orgulhosas sempre.
